Ahhh dissection

In biology today we started dissection, and we are doing a fetile pig. Before we start, we have to find the age of the pig, the gender, and we have to give it a good name, so that it doesnt get made fun of at school. I am mainly making this post so that all the people that read my blog can give me suggestions of what we should name our small little pig. We havent gotten to determine what gender it is yet, but we will tomarrow. So far, me and my partner Liz are dwelling on a few differnt names for our piglet which include shakwanda, Mr. Bair, whatever Mr. Bairs first name is, or Douglass. Please give me all of your great ideas for a pig name and if you win, me and Liz will both give you a biiiigggg hug!!

SOLs are dumb

So i just got done taking the Science biology SOL and now im in computer science. Its been a few days since i have gotten a chance to post, or had anything to post on. I was sitting there answering many common sense questions and i decided that the Virginia Standards of Learning tests are just stupid. Sure, back when we took the first SOLS say in like 2nd or 3rd grade, everyone would stress out about it, and study a whole bunch and go to bed extra early, and make sure to eat a hearty breakfast before going to school to take the dreaded standardized tests. Ya, well now I think I just use the SOL tests as an excuse to eat and extra hearty breakfast in the morning. Come to think about it, i dont think i even really do that anymore. Here's an example of a question from me SOL tests today. What test in this expirement is most likely invalid?? Then they show a chart with 4 rows. One row says like 1 3 9 12 followed by 1.1 3 8.9 11, next comes 2 3.1 9 11 and finally, they like to make the numbers completely obvious by putting in numbers nowhere close like 6 8 17 14. Now can you tell me which row of numbers is incorrect?? ya, im pretty sure somebody who doesn't even know english, which is the case a lot of the time can get that right. I mean ya, it is pretty tough to get a whoping 52% on this extremely challenging test. I think i might be able to guess blindfolded and still get aobut a 69%. Now you wanna know a real challenge might be geeting what the call Advance Proficiency, or a high score, is actually hard since you can only miss 4 out of 50 question but anyways, if anybody fails an SOL test, I hate to telly ou, but youmust be really dumb or your teacher is just a retard. But anyways students, try your best to pass that SOL test!!

The Service

So Last ngiht was the memorial service for Daniel and Richard Dunn. It was held at the First Church of the Nazerine and i would guess around 1800 people showed up for it, so it was a good turnout. As well as the service, i thought it was great. It was really sad and made me cry a lot. For those of you who didnt make it, it started off with a few worship songs, an then proceeded to Maddie, Daniels little sister talking about her father and brother. I was really impressed with her composure and how well she handled it, as she talked about how they were her heros. Many speakers follwed remebering Daniel and Richard, but most of them were about Mr. Dunn, which i didnt like because it seemes Mr. Dunn got talked a bout more than Daniel. They were both great people though, and i thought the service was great. After many testimonies, they showed a video and a slideshow with Mr. Dunn and Daniel which jerked tears out of most everyone there, but it was already too late for me. After a few more testimoies, a chior sung, there was an invitation for all the teens to come up front and get an armband which says RWWY and IWRY, which stands for remeber who's with you, and i will remeber you. Every teen flooded down to the front to get one and by this time i was balling along ith everyone else as they played Sarah McLachan's I Will Remeber you. All the teenagers then stayed in the room as the preacher invited everyone to give their hearts to Jesus, which is good, however i thought was akward because it was a time to remeber the Dunns, and not to try to get people to become dedicated cristians, but that is probably what Mr. Dunn would probably want to happen because he was always looking for ways to have a Christian impact on people. After hugging a minimum of three people, we all exited the sancutary. Inside each bulliten was a blank sheet of paper in order to write memories of Richard and Daniel, that i took full advantage of. In the main lobby there was a table with numerous pictures of Mr. Dunn and Daniel along with baskets to place your sheets. There were many pictures of Daniel playing baseball, and just the sight of this made me break into tears. I was embarrased at first, but it was a memorial service so almost everyone else was crying too. I finally worked my way out of the building, and went out into the poring rain to the car with Jason and my mom and drove home, which was harder then normal because my eyes were watery. But i got home, and I've been thinking about it ever since. I'm hoping for the best for the Dunns, and im sure everything will end up okay, but again, we will all miss you and just like the sign says in your front yard, i know your "with jesus."

Sorry for not posting this earlier, i accidently saved as draft instead of posting, but here it is.

Back Again

So i havent posted for 3 days, and i just noticed that i have 500 hits now, so sorry to those who come expecting to see a new post. But the last couple of days have been both bad and good. When i arrived home from school on friday, my mom told me about the plane crash Daniel and his dad were in, and she told me that Daniel had already died. I was in shock at first and didnt really know what to think. I mean he lived two blocks away from me my whole life, but just the thought that i'm never going to see him again was hard to comprehend. Growing up together and hangin out at his house, playing baseball and basketball together, and playing video games, and now i wont get to see him anymore. All of this started to hit me when i was laying in bed and thinking about the grief his family must be feeling. I started crying at the thought of a friend i had grown up with had died. About 6 o'clock rolled around and i was amzingly excited to hear that Daniel wasn't dead, however he was at UVA in critical condition along with his Dad. I mean, all of you reading this probably already knew about this stuff, but i was pretty pumped and thought that UVA could save his life. After hearing this, i went up and prayed for him, and then i called Ben's cell phone and left him a message about what had happened and said that the baseball team should play for Daniel on that night, and indeed they did. That night i went to the HHS vs TA baseball game, and we pulled out a win after a great contest. After i got home at 11 with my friends, the news came over the TV that Daniel had died around 8:30. It was pretty rough, but i tried not to think too hard about it while i hang out with my friends. We played poker until about 2:30, the next day we went over to JMU to play basketball until about 4 PM. The next morning before we went to free physicals, we heard that Daniel's father, Richard Dunn had also passed away earlier that morning. Things continued to go from good to bad. After getting about four hours of sleep and going to physicals, i went and played ultimate frisbee, and once again, i got down when i walked past the Dunn's house on the way up to the church to play. Saturday night we played poker over at Mr. Moffetts, which was a great time and i came out with an extra 20 bucks. Sunday i had early church and i had to ring, and i felt pretty akward having cornrows at an almost all white Presbyterian Church. Since i didnt get to sleep much that weekend, i went home and took a quick nap before going to a baseball event and then back to church for choir practice. That was an early night after mowing the grass i got to bed at a resonable hour. Monday morning, i had to walk into the class that i shared with Daniel every morning. This once again made things go not so great again, but having a counsoler there and all of us talking about it made it easier, and we wrote a sympathy card to the Dunn's. The day got a lot better about 2 hours later when i got out of school at 12:45 to go to the girls tennis match instead of gym class. That was good, and then i didnt really do anything that night. And that is a sum up of the last couple of days, and oh yea, we won in girls tennis, boys tennis, and best of all we beat Waynesboro in boys soccer. As i said, it has been a couple good and bad days, but i now have more value for life, and realize that we all take life for granted and we shouldn't, because you never know what will be your last day. We will all miss you Daniel and Mr. Dunn, but you were both strong in faith and i know your having a great time up in heaven together. Please pray for Maddie and Mrs. Dunn to help them get through this.

Cornrows

Ahhhh my dream finally came true. On Wednesday in gym class, i brought little rubber bands, a comb and a bottle of gel, and MacLean Kimsey worked her magic on my hair. She is amazing, she did my hair perfect in about 20 minutes. You are my hero MacLean. I've had my cornrows in for two days now and it has been pretty interesting. I think one of the best part about it is just the funny looks i get in the hall. I get lots of differnt responses. Some people say o man Andrew, those look so bad, or Andrew your so ugly!! Others say man Andrew, you hair is awesome, that is so cool!! On the other hand, there are those who touch it, and those who just look at me and laugh. I mean yes, i am a white boy, and i am proud of my whitness, and i know that i look really stupid with cornrows, but its the thought that im a craker with cornrows that counts. I mean lots of people told me when i was growing my hair out that i didnt have the balls to do it and i proved them wrong. I'm undecided on when im going to take them out, either later this afternoon, or maybe tomarrow, or maybe i'll just leave them in until them come out. I have had a lot of fun having them in, but it sure is a lot of work to keep cornrows nice in whiteboy hair. I took pictures of it on my camara, and ill consider posting them, but ill have to get a few comments of people telling me to post them. But im gonna get back to work.

Maaan

Today, we presented our body systems projects in Biology. We chose which system we were going to do by drawing numbers out of a hat. Liz and i were really hoping to get an early pick so that we could do our project on the reproductive system. Sad;y, we got the second to last pick of the systems and had to do the endocrine system, which uses glands to send hormones throughout the body. All that sucks. If Liz and i could of done the reproductive system, it would of been glourious. Now im not saying Anna and Kelsey didnt do a great job, but i know i sure would of had a lot more fun if me and Liz did it. Thats my thgouht for ringht now, be back later...

A new begining

School smartfilters a homosexual. Do administrators think they can ever acctually block every site that has games, or anything else cool on it?? I mean even if they so, there are websites that change the proxy settings on the computer that are impossible to block. I mean sure, it takes a little more effort to get to good sites, but they're not stopping us, so its stupid. But now that my blog site was discovered, they decided to manually block my blog and Liz' blog. This wasnt hard do get rid of, because all i had to do is change the URL of the site and BAM, unblocked. If they think they can ever block every single URL I can make, THEIR WRONG. but anyways, im pretty excited about my new begining on this blog site, and i hope all of you continue to read and ill keep posting on my new site.

NEW SITE

Recently, my blog was found by one of the admministartors at our school. Because of this, the smart filter at our school now blocks my blog site when you try to get to it. I dont want to deprive all my readers who sit in class and read my blogs, so all i need to do is change my URL so you can go to it. If you are at this site, this is the last post you will see on it, because all of the new posts will be posted on AndrewisSexy.blogspot.com. Just click the link to get there, its kinda like getting redirected. Sorry for the inconvenience and the gayness of the administrators. Just remeber, andrew is sexy.

And the grand finale!

Baby Got Subz

I like big subs and I cannot lie
You other Sheetz employees can’t deny
When an order comes in for a twelve inch sub
And they eat it outside the club
You get sprung!

Wanna pull up a chair?
Did u notice that sub was stuffed?
Deep in that sub you’re consumin’
I’m hooked and my heart is zoomin’

O Baby, I wanna get a sub
Maybe get a little grub
My homeboys tryin’ to warn me
But that sub you got makes me, me, me so hungry!

Ooo buns of smooth meat
You say u wanna get in my tummy?
Well use me use me, ‘cause I’m a real big dummy
So fellas, “YEA,” fellas, “YEA”
Your girlfriends got a sub? “Heck yea!”

Tell em’ to eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
Eat that delicious sub
Baby got subs

My Wonderland

I wish there was a place where I could be happy
No stupid love cards or anything sappy
I wish I could just eat Shmiscuits all day
It would even be better if I didn’t have to pay
If that actually happened to me I think I would say
I love Sheetz; you’re the best, yaaayy!

Then I would grab a 44 ounce drink
And give the cashier a quick little wink
Then I would dash back down to my house
And there would be my supermodel spouse
Ahh that would be such a beautiful time
Living off Sheetz and not paying a dime

I could sit around looking really cool
And then take a quick dip in my in ground pool
My spouse and I could eat subs hand in hand
Man that would be quite a wonderland.

This sucks....its a Sonnet in Iambic Pentameter

Home Sweet Sheetz

I like to go to Sheetz to eat dinner
I got some good fries and a six inch sub
It’s a lot better than going to a pub
A person who eats at Sheetz is a winner

If you don’t eat there, you are a sinner
When you eat Shmiscuits, you will get some flub
But then I will give you a tummy rub
If I stopped eating there I would be thinner

When I’, with my friends we go late at night
We go and get food, and drinks and candy
Then we go home and play poker for fun

When someone loses, there is a big fight
If I don’t win I do not feel dandy
We always have fun ‘till we see the sun

Ode To Shmiscuits

First comes the biscuit so fluffy and good
I’m glad I have a Sheetz, in my ‘hood
Next is the egg, delicious and yellow
Just the taste of it makes me feel mellow
Then is the sausage, so greasy and meaty
If I had the sausage, I would be greedy
Finally the cheese, so soft and gooey
Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes it’s chewy
I’m sure glad I went to Sheetz to eat
Now I am satisfied from my head to my feet

Limerick

There once was a man from Sheetz
All the while he hoped for good meats
So he bought a big sub
And bathed in the tub
That really hungry man from Sheetz.

Eating is Believing

I was real hungry and I wanted to eat
So I ordered a Shmiscuit, with double meat
Then I ordered a sub and a little more
I high fived the cashier and we both yelled “Score!”

I ordered so much food tears formed in my eyes
Subs, Shmiscuits, Shmagels, and even some fries
Shmuffins, Slushies, Snickers, I couldn’t seem to stop
I could already feel my button starting to pop

I sat down at a table and began to grub
I started with a Shmiscuit, and then a sub
After I had finished I yelled while I was leaving
“Man you were right eating is believing!”

A Day in Heaven

I walked through the door with a rush of air
The cool Sheetz wind blew through my hair
I saw the cashier’s name, it was Devon
I ask her “Ma’am am I in heaven?”

I looked into her deep blue eyes
And asked “Are you an angel from the skies?”
She rubbed her brown hair and cracked a smile
And put all my Shmiscuits into a pile

I took my food and gave her a wave
And then I started walking toward the beer cave
Suddenly I saw an extremely bright light
I couldn’t believe I was seeing that sight

I thought to myself “what could it be?”
I walked into the bathroom so I could see
I glanced in the bathroom and gave a quick scan
Devon gabbed me and said “I’m really a man”

I was sad that She wasn’t what I thought
So I cried and wept as I ate what I bought

Ahh the Taste

I walked into Sheetz to get some food
Just the smell of it put me in the mood
The money seemed to jump out of my wallet
I’m not sure if the cashier saw it!
I grabbed my Shmiscuit and ran out the door
I almost fell right to the floor

I opened the wrapper and what did I see?
My Shmiscuit screaming eat me eat me!
I opened my mouth and gobbled it down
Never that minute did I crack a frown
Sure this treat cost me lots of money
But I ate that food like a bear eats honey

here they come!

I will now post my poems one by one for all the readers enjoyment

poet

Im thinking maybe if i make like two posts a day, after a couple days, it will make up for the days that i didin't post, so im gonna try to post a lot now. Well continued from yesterday, it waas sunday night and i needed to write all my poems for english class. I thought it would be col to write all of them about Sheetz, and so i did. I managed to write 9 poems about a store/gas station up the street from my house. Now, i'm sitting in computer science, and i finished my programs, so i can't post my poems, but i assue you, when i got home i will. While i was writing, i figured out that i should be a poet. About 6 of my poems were amazing, and when i get home im going to post them one by one for the world to read, and maybe a publisher will read them and they'll pay to me write poems. But i gotta go but when i get home i will post those poems.

Back Again

Once again i have let time go by without writing a post to keep all 4 people that read my blog daily entertained. Hmmm what to write about...Well this weekend pretty much sucked, with a few exceptions on Saturday. It all started on Saturday morning when i had to wake up at 6:45 to go to school on the weekend. I actually just had to go take my SAT's at 7:30. The SAT was sooooo loonngggg and sooo boring, and finally i got out at like 1. The actual test wasnt that bad, but the English sections had really big words, and it took freakin forever. While iw as sitting there during a quick break in the test, i started talking to Juan, the guy sitting next to me, and we were talking about graduation. He told me he was going dumpster diving later that afternoon, and i remerbed that i needed to do that. So my day got drasticaly better when i got home and called my friend Ross to hit up the dumpsters behind Greek row. About 3, we started scaveging. We found a bunch of cool stuff, that was all really random, but a lot of it was cool, so i kept it. After that we went back to his house and hung out and played video games and went to wal-mart until i had to go home at like 10:30. The first day of the weekend not getting to sleep in was complete. The next morning, being mothers day, I had to get up early to drive up to see my grandma and go to her church service. The day was pretty boring, but there was this pretty hott girl at her church named Megan. After church, we drove over to Country Cookin' to get a mothers day lunch. I like to eat, and i got really full, so it was a good time, and there was a lot of hott girls eating there too. I got home at 5 in order to go to chior, then i went to the 6:33 at my church, and finally i participaed in my church youth group called The Rock. We had all of seven students there, and we better have more next week. Everone reading this should come, its at 7:45 at First Presbyterian Church. Rob will talk to us about a certain topic for a while, and then at the end you can hang around and play dodgeball or basketball. You better be there! But when i got home i had to write eight poems for English class the next day, which ill talk about later. Wasn't a great weekend, and i didnt get much sleep, but hey i'm sure next weekend will be better

Gus

Alright, so Nathan is a pretty cool guy as mentioned before, but theres also another pretty cool guy that i call Mr. SCA Reporter, AKA, Gus Paul Fitzgerald. I mean sure, he has a few flaws such as hating our countires president, but theres gotta be someone that does right? Maybe we share differnt religioins, but i love Yousef still dont i?? well i do. And i also love Gus. I would like to give u a link to one of the better sites in the universe, also known as The Wayward Existentialist. This has lots of great stuff to read, and is something to do if your bored, or not bored. But i gotta get working on this project but heres to my boy Gus.

As time lapses

I'm sorry to those who have been vigorousy awaiting a new post for ohh a week or so. haha no, i don't really have anyone hooked that bad, but ever since the third six weeks started in Computer science, we've had some pretty long and hard programs to write, and since im ungrounded now, i dont have much time to spend on the computer typing away on my blog site. But now im back, and im gonna try to once again make about one visit a day. So anyways, the last couple days have been grand, well, until Nathan lost his car, and now we've been running short on things to do. But this weekend, was a great time. I went on a retreat with my church called Breakaway. We went up to Camp Horizons and spent time having worship services, quiet times, free time, and just hangin out with great friends. It was a good time. While we were up there, a certain group of extremely cool British people happened to be there as well. I got to know most for them, and learned words from England while i was at it. Turned out that same group of people visited our school the nest day, so i got to know them better and get out of class to hang out with them. They were a great group of people, but now back to the best moment of breakaway. Being a religious retreat, it may sound bad to say this, but during our free time, we played a huge game of capture the flag with our group and the people from England. We walled it the revolutionary war, although teams were split evenly. My team got the American flag and blue marks, while the other team got a DC flag(which i imagined wat a British flag), and we both hid them. We used cards like you do in Stratego to see who won if you got tagged, and my card was a 10, which beat everything but a 5, which is the bomb squad. Right as the game started, i sprinted down in the pouring rain in search of their flag. Man this is a long winded story, but anyways, then I found it, killed the guards with my 10, and grabbed the flag as my team gathered around me. I ran back to my side holding the flag high and yelling FREEEEEEDDDDDOOOOMMMMM at the top of my lungs as i dashed through the rain to my side. It was amazing. Well it was nice posting again, and hopefully ill be back tomorrow, but i have a big biology project to do....
